Water Relief Aquatic Physical Therapy PLLC Story

Hi! I’m Dr. Kristen Kilroy, PT, DPT. I grew up in Pennsylvania and came to Virginia to attend Marymount University where I got a B.S. in Health Sciences and swam on the Marymount University Swim Team. I continued my time at Marymount while earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. As a lifelong swimmer, I have a passion for the water and helping others benefit from the water. I specialize in aquatic physical therapy but have special interests in the stroke and pediatric population. I am also dry needling certified. In my free time, I like to travel, cook, and explore the D.C. area.

 

I created this company to combine two of my loves: physical therapy and swimming. I want to provide access to patients to reduce wait times and allow more people to benefit from the healing powers of the water.
